Konrad was born on the 3rd of April 1965, in Naperville, Illinois, United States of America. His title Emmy-award-winning journalist comes as he is a nine-time Emmy-Award-winning television weather anchor. In addition, he is also in charge of engineering Social Media engagement strategy which regularly reaches a million people per week. This show features an elementary school-aged child forecasting the weather on live TV every Friday on WGN Morning News. Additionally, he takes pride in hosting the weekly “Friday Forecaster” segment. He passes them over for either approval and on several occasions disapproval. Konrad works as a host for a semi-weekly segment titled “Courtesy Desk.” There, he takes viewers’ suggestions and ideas where he goes ahead to pass them to his on-air colleagues. Additionally, he is a proud graduate of Northwestern University where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Radio and Television.
He is a proud graduate of DePaul University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting. Konrad attended Waubonsie Valley High School where he completed his high school level of education in 1983. He joins WGN News after working in several stations in Chicago, Chicagoland Television News (CLTV), Montgomery, Tampa Bay, and Alabama. Paul Konrad is an American Emmy-Award-Winning Meteorologist working as a weather Anchor for WGN-TV Morning News since joining the station in 1996.
